Job Summary

Job Purpose:The Lead Product Development and Design is responsible for driving the complete product lifecyclefrom earlystage concept design and prototyping to production market launch and postlaunch stabilization. The role ensures that each stage of development is executed with strategic clarity technical rigor and crossfunctional alignment. This position blends strategic visioning with handson product leadership ensuring that user insights market needs feasibility assessments and business priorities translate into highimpact scalable products. The Lead provides both breadthcoordinating across design engineering manufacturing quality marketing supply chain and operationsand depth through technical expertise in product architecture prototyping validation and usability. By orchestrating multidisciplinary teams guiding design excellence establishing robust development processes and ensuring smooth transitions through each lifecycle stage the Lead enables the organization to deliver innovative reliable sustainable and customercentric products. The goal is to accelerate timetomarket strengthen product quality and ensure longterm performance and stability in the field along with development of product training modules and SOPs for a repeatable sustainable design and installation experience

4) Key Result Areas/Accountabilities:

1. Design & Vision:Define and document product vision and concept criteria for Modular Kitchens.	Maintain & document the product vision aligned with business goals and consumer needs. Work closely with external partners like Product Design Agency International architects etc. monitor progress and successfully deliver the product line and key features as per agreed roadmap.
2. Consumer & Market Insights:Conduct market research by meeting with experts and users from target group analyses competitors	Identify trends as inputs for refinement in existing products and future kitchen concepts.
3. Prototyping & MVP Delivery:Lead MVP definition prototyping cycles and design iterations with R&D (HIC ABSTC) and external partners.	Develop and maintain the product roadmap prioritizing key features of each concept based on the inputs from market.
4. Production Readiness:Supports production processes SOPs and quality checkpoints for aluminum kitchens.	Work closely with production including fabricator design marketing and sales teams to ensure successful concept development refinement and launch. Time-to-delivery: Define specific & precise product requirements based on market input work with production and design teams(external internal) and ensure timely product delivery. Develop SOPs for product installation to achieve the vision of 24-hour installation in first year. Identify and work closely with external agencies Drafting legal contracts with every third party with help of Hindalcos legal finance team ensuring relevant compliance with regulations envisage potential future risks of every collaboration and make contracts to protect our business and organization interest.
5. Go-to-Market Launch:Coordinate GTM planning showroom setup Brand development and launch campaigns with Bradding Marketing and Sales.	Plan and execute product launches working with marketing and sales teams.
6. Market Stabilization:Monitor product performance post-launch gather customer feedback and drive stabilization improvements.	Analyze product performance gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
7. Project Excellence:Oversee project charters milestone reviews and escalation matrices across all stages.	Managing the entire project management to take the Kitchen from Development to Launch. Laise with internal & external partners to ensure all workflows/tracks run smoothly meet the milestones/timelines and set up an escalation matrix if anything is lagging/not moving. Develop a Project charter and be responsible for all the reviews cadence on Kitchens with KRA of 100% ownership on delivery to take it to market.
8. Cross-Functional Leadership:Facilitate collaboration among Strategy Design Engineering Manufacturing and external agencies.	Managing the design conversations between Design Agency Global Experts and Real-Life Users (Consumers) to firm up the MVP and deploy in the market. Work closely with Marketing team on the branding aspects.
9. Innovation & IP Strategy:Drive generation of patentable ideas and technical innovations through partnerships.	Collaborate with design agencies our design team universities and industry experts to understand and create opportunities of patents on unique design and technical features of our kitchen concepts.
10. P&L & Business Outcomes:Support product line P&L pricing costs and revenue growth.	Oversee the product development budget and allocate resources efficiently to ensure successful project delivery. Ensure timely delivery of products while maintaining quality and cost-effectiveness.
11. Team Development & Mentorship:Build and mentor a high-performing product team; foster data-driven customer-centric culture.	Identify training needs and provide for training as needed along with building training modules Manage and mentor a team of product managers helping to grow their skills and career paths. Build a collaborative data-driven and customer-centric culture within the product management team.
