Job Summary

Job Description
To monitor analyse and predict cadet training performance using data-driven insights enabling proactive intervention and improved training outcomes across all phases of training.

To ensure cadet well-being professional development and behavioural maturity throughout the training lifecycle supporting both performance and retention.

To act as the primary interface between the airline and each Flight Training Organization (FTO) ensuring training quality syllabus compliance and consistent reporting standards.

To manage centralized cadet training data and deliver accurate traceable and timely reports to support strategic and operational decision-making.

To identify cadets requiring additional support and manage structured remedial training plans to ensure successful progression and license completion.

To strategically align cadet intake volumes and timelines with airline fleet induction plans and long-term pilot demand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track individual and batch-wise cadet progress including:
    • Flying hours simulator sessions ground school completion
    • Check outcomes failures rechecks delays and extensions
  • Maintain phase-wise performance dashboards covering:
    • Ground school simulator flight and skill test stages
    • Attrition rates delay trends and average time to completion
  • Identify underperformance trends and early warning indicators
  • Generate predictive risk flags for:
    • Likely failures or delays
    • Extended training timelines
  • Support management reviews with actionable performance analysis
  • Work closely with FTOs Remedial Training Coordinator and Welfare Officer to support interventions
  • Serve as the single point of contact for assigned FTOs
  • Ensure compliance with:
    • Agreed training syllabi
    • Airline training quality standards
    • Regulatory and contractual requirements
  • Review and validate training reports performance data and progress updates
  • Coordinate:
    • Scheduled audits and quality assessments
    • Site visits and management reviews
  • Resolve operational and training issues in collaboration with FTOs
  • Escalate risks delays or quality concerns to management
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives with training partners
  • Monitor cadet welfare related to:
    • Accommodation and living conditions
    • Mental well-being and stress indicators
  • Act as the primary handler for:
    • Cadet complaints grievances and feedback
    • Sensitive or escalated welfare cases
  • Ensure structured development of:
    • Crew Resource Management (CRM)
    • Threat and Error Management (TEM)
    • Professional behavior and attitude
  • Coordinate with FTOs and internal stakeholders on welfare concerns
  • Document and track welfare issues and resolutions
  • Recommend interventions or escalation where required
  • Maintain the centralized cadet tracking system (e.g. TRNCP TRNFO or equivalent)
  • Ensure:
    • Data accuracy
    • Consistency across multiple sources
    • Version control and documentation traceability
  • Generate:
    • Weekly operational dashboards
    • Monthly management and executive reports
  • Support audits by providing verified records and data trails
  • Collaborate with Training Performance Analyst and FTO Liaison for data alignment
  • Continuously improve reporting formats and automation
  • Identify cadets needing intervention based on performance data and instructor feedback
  • Design individualized remedial training plans in coordination with FTOs
  • Track remedial training progress and outcomes
  • Assess post-intervention effectiveness and readiness to rejoin normal training flow
  • Maintain documentation for remedial actions and approvals
  • Provide management updates on recovery rates and risks
  • Plan cadet intakes aligned with:
    • Aircraft induction schedules
    • Pilot manpower forecasts
  • Track batch timelines versus delivery targets (e.g. Apr 2028 onwards)
  • Model pipeline scenarios to manage:
    • Training throughput
    • Buffer capacity
    • Attrition contingencies
  • Coordinate with:
    • Recruitment teams
    • Rostering and manpower planning
  • Flag risks related to over/under-supply of trained pilots
  • Support long-term capacity planning and management decision-making
