About the role

The Post-Closing CD Specialist is responsible for reconciling the final version of the Closing Disclosure (CD) including any post-funding revisions to ensure accuracy compliance and data integrity. This role plays a key part in delivering secure timely and compliant mortgage disclosures while maintaining detailed documentation within the Loan Origination System (LOS).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the companys Loan Origination System (LOS)

• Review and ensure accuracy and data integrity for the issuance of the Closing Disclosure and Loan Estimate

• Reconcile post-funding revisions to ensure customers receive an exact record of their mortgage transaction

• Maintain accurate records of communications and actions related to the disclosure process within the loan file conversation log

• Maintain service levels and adhere to regulatory timelines for completion and delivery of disclosures verified through LOS tracking systems

• Deliver mortgage loan disclosures in a secure and accurate manner

• Maintain confidentiality and privacy of customer and employee information

• Work overtime as needed to support business and regulatory timelines

Qualifications & Skills

• Knowledge of mortgage compliance regulations for Conventional FHA USDA and VA loan programs

• Familiarity with Encompass (LOS) strongly preferred

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

• High school diploma or general education degree required

• Excellent oral and written communication skills with a strong customer service orientation

• Strong problem-solving ability

• Ability to self-direct and adapt to changing timelines and deadlines

• Ability to multi-task and succeed in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to compute rates ratios and percentages and to draw and interpret bar graphs
