Internal Auditor – Manufacturing Operations
Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct internal audits of manufacturing plants covering production stores procurement dispatch and maintenance
- Perform physical verification of raw materials WIP finished goods and scrap; reconcile with ERP/system records
- Review material consumption production yield wastage and variance analysis to identify cost leakages
- Evaluate production planning machine utilization downtime rejection and rework levels
- Assess internal controls over procurement GRN issue slips job cards and stock transfers
- Ensure compliance with SOPs ISO standards statutory requirements and safety regulations
- Audit vendor and procurement processes including rate comparisons approvals and supplier compliance
- Identify fraud/pilferage risks related to inventory scrap and unauthorized dispatches
- Prepare audit reports with root cause analysis and corrective action recommendations
- Follow up with plant/finance teams on audit observations and closure of action items
Requirements
Ideal Candidate Background
36 years experience in Internal Audit / Cost Audit / Plant Accounts
Must have worked in Manufacturing Industry
Preferably Auto Components / Industrial Manufacturing
Strong understanding of plant operations inventory costing and controls
