The Program Lead will be responsible for leading the end-to-end devel- opment implementation and scaling of maternal mental health initia- tives focused on improving the psychological well-being of pregnant and
postpartum women. The role requires a strategic thinking with core pro- gram management partnership building and capacity building of teams.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Program Design & Strategy Design evidence-based interventions addressing Postpartum Depression anxiety and perinatal stress. Lead the development of maternal mental health programs aligned with organizational goals. Integrate mental health in to maternal and child health frameworks Align activities with outcomes track performance and improve decision making to ensure accountability and efficacy of programs.
Program Implementation Oversee end to end execution of programs across multiple geographies and work closely with cross functional teams Ensure adherence to quality standards clinical protocols and ethical guidelines. Monitor and support program delivery and work closely with vendors field teams and implementation partners. Successful implementation and scale-up of all programs and focus on measurable improvements in outcomes.
Fund Management and Grant Management Guide and support in proposal development for donors funding agencies and also support and supervise concept documents Manage and supervise grant budgets reporting and overall compliance requirements Diligently track donor budget and engagement all donor reports and MIS related to projects.
Team Management & Capacity Building Lead manage and mentor multidisciplinary teams (program managers on the field ground team members implementation teams) Capacity building team members developing their skills knowledge and abilities while building internal capacity on maternal mental health best practices.
Stakeholder Engagement Build and manage partnerships with key stake holders like Government health departments hospitals and clinics NGOs Communities international agencies etc Represent Mpower in forums conferences and policy discussions and advocate for maternal mental health inclusion in public health systems.
