Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant GCP Data Engineering
Responsibilities
Design develop and maintain data pipelines on GCP using services like Dataflow Cloud Composer (Airflow) and Cloud Functions.
Build and optimize data transformations and ETL/ELT processes to prepare data for analysis.
Should be proficient in DBT( let). Can able to write the DBT pipeline.
Ingest and process data from various sources into Google Cloud Storage and BigQuery.
Monitor data pipelines for performance and reliability and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand their data requirements and provide necessary data infrastructure.
Implement data quality checks and ensure data accuracy within GCP.
Assist senior engineers in the implementation of data governance and security policies on GCP.
Learn and adopt new GCP data engineering services and best practices. Document data pipelines and processes clearly

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
GCP data services (BigQuery; Dataflow; Data Fusion; Dataproc; Cloud Composer; CloudFunctions; Pub/Sub; Google Cloud Storage)
Programming languages e.g. Python/Java & SQL Kubernetes Terraform
Hands-on experience with the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its core data services (e.g. BigQuery Cloud Storage DBT DataformDataflow Cloud Composer).
Strong proficiency in SQL and a good understanding of relational databases.
Experience with at least one programming language relevant to data engineering (e.g. Python).
Familiarity with ETL/ELT concepts and data warehousing principles.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Basic understanding of data quality and data governance concepts.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills
