Job Summary

SALARY

Salary commensurate with certification/licensure and experience based on the Administrative/Supervisory Salary Scale.

Includes benefits package.

HOURS

Full time 12 month position

Contract Unit: This position is part of the Unit II bargaining unit for Administrators and Supervisors.

QUALIFICATIONS

Masters degree in Education or related field required

Hold or be eligible for the MSDE Certificate with Administrator I.

Minimum of 5 years of successful classroom teaching experience

Experience in Title I or high-needs school environments

Knowledge of federal education programs (Title I ESSA preferred)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support administration and oversight of the districts Title I program with the Title I Supervisor to ensure compliance with federal state and local requirements.
  • Work with principals in Title I schools to ensure effective implementation of Title I services interventions and supplemental academic supports.
  • Assist in developing implementing and monitoring school-based Title I plans to align with school improvement efforts and district priorities.
  • Support supervision and evaluation of non-tenured teachers in Title I schools according to Board policy and established procedures.
  • Work with the Finance Department and Title I Supervisor to oversee fiscal management of Title I funds at the district and school levels.
  • Monitor budgets expenditures and financial documentation to ensure compliance with federal guidelines including allowability allocability and reasonableness standards under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA).
  • Track and manage purchases contracts and expenditures for Title I programming and supplemental services.
  • Assist in monitoring carryover funds and ensure timely effective use of federal allocations to support student achievement.
  • Support preparation for federal and state audits monitoring visits and compliance reviews.
  • Complete and maintain accurate records and documentation for federal reporting program monitoring and fiscal accountability.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support successful implementation of federal programs and district initiatives.
