POSITION OBJECTIVE:
This is a temporary hourly position to monitor and maintain the District Fields and/or District Facilities during weekend and evening scheduled community events.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (These duties are a representative sample; position assignments may vary.)
Fields:
- Supervises the usage of District athletic fields.
- Display quality customer service skills while interacting with the public and handle comments questions and concerns.
- Prepare field prior to and after community use including picking up litter on field dugouts and around bleachers and empty garbage cans.
- Rake infield mix to fill holes in base cutouts and pitchers mound and grade to proper height.
- Line outfield foul lines.
- Repair/replace bases base pegs and pitching rubber.
- Arrive prior to the user groups to unlock the gates and remove tarps if applicable.
- Meet user groups at the field when they arrive and when groups change. Remind user groups of field rules (no cleats no seeds no batting cage use timeslot scheduled).
- Inform District Field Coordinator of any issues with fields and customer issues.
Facilities:
- Supervises the usage of District facilities.
- Display quality customer service skills while interacting with the public and handle comments questions and concerns.
- Assist user in event set up and cleanup.
- Ensure that users adhere to building policies.
- Ensure that events are running smoothly by overseeing event attendees and use of District equipment.
- Determine on whether a facility can be used for certain activities.
- Inform building custodians of cleanup areas and assist when possible.
- Inform District Facilities Coordinator of any issues with facilities and customer issues.
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
- Other duties as assigned.

- Capable of last minute change with on-the-job requirements.
- Flexibility with decisions under pressure.
- Demonstrates multicultural sensitivity with the ability to effectively and collaboratively work with diverse populations.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Positions in this class typically require: stooping kneeling crouching reaching standing walking pushing pulling lifting finger dexterity grasping talking hearing seeing and repetitive motions.
Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
May work outdoors in inclement weather. May require physical mobility to move through a school campus including up and down stairs and inside and outside.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
This is a temporary hourly position paid at$25.31 per hour with no benefits. Months days and hours may vary depending upon assignment. This position is not eligbile for benefits.
