Job Summary
LK Jordan is hiring a Working Maintenance Supervisor for a heavy fabrication shop specializing in heat exchangers and tank fabrication. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will work alongside your team to troubleshoot repair and maintain critical equipment while driving accountability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and work alongside maintenance technicians daily
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment; minimize downtime
- Assign and prioritize work based on production needs
- Execute and enforce preventive maintenance (PM) programs
- Maintain and close out work orders with accurate tracking
- Coordinate closely with production to support schedules
- Enforce safety standards (LOTO rigging electrical safety)
Equipment Experience:
- Welding systems (SMAW GTAW SAW)
- CNC plasma tables
- Plate rolls positioners forming equipment
- Overhead cranes and hoists
- Air compressors and facility systems
Requirements:
- 5 years of industrial maintenance experience
- 2 years in a lead or supervisory role
- Strong hands-on mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic experience
Preferred:
- Fabrication or heavy manufacturing background
- CMMS experience
- Overhead crane and material handling experience
