Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT)
Location: Stone Mountain GA
Job Type: Travel Contract (13 Weeks)
Schedule: Day Shift 40 Hours/Week (36 hours guaranteed)
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Physical Therapist (PT) to join an outpatient orthopedic clinic. The PT will evaluate and treat patients with musculoskeletal conditions develop individualized care plans and help patients restore mobility and function in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Utilize therapeutic techniques including manual therapy exercise programs and modalities
- Educate patients and families on injury prevention mobility and home exercise programs
- Document evaluations progress notes and discharge summaries in compliance with clinic standards
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain a clean safe and organized treatment environment
Patient & Clinic Details
- Setting: Outpatient Orthopedics
- Patient Volume: 1214 patients/day
- Productivity Expectation: 60 visits/week
- Double-booking: Follow-up visits may be double-booked
- Floating: Not required (option to work at nearby clinic if needed)
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist license in Georgia (or eligible for licensure)
- Bachelors or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT preferred)
- BLS/CPR Certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience Requirements
- Outpatient experience preferred
- New graduates accepted
- First-time travelers accepted
- PTA candidates will not be considered
