Job Summary

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW

Senior Designer is part of the hierarchical organization reporting directly to the Head of the Department as direct discipline a project execution environment the primary responsibility of the designer is to efficiently execute the work packages using the applicable design tools and assist the Discipline Project Lead Engineer to deliver the work within contractual framework quality schedule and overall cost effectiveness in order to meet the overall project desired results.

General

Ensuring quality of design as per job manual & QA checklist requirements

Proven ability to execute within the Project time-lines and work with least supervision.

Demonstrate expertise for modeling using various 3D tools like SP3D etc and takes ownership and sense of responsibility to deliver within the project time schedule.

Modeling and layout detail design work related to discipline specific deliverables

Generates various layouts installation drawings MTOs based on the engineering discipline workflow.

Checking drawings and MTOs.

Review of vendor drawings related to plant design.

HSE QA/QC

Executes applicable scope of work in compliance with the requirements of the HSE Management System and IMS for the discipline/project.

Ensures that the documentation is prepared checked and approved according to Project Quality Plan. PROJECT CONTROL / COORDINATION

Communicates to the Lead Engineer status and progress of projects schedule deliverables.

Communicates man-hour spent.

Records and communicates all changes to original scope.

Contributes to Change Management.

DOMAIN KNOWLEDGE

Modeling and design drawing preparations along with MTO generation for Modeling and layout detail design work for steel structures pipe racks / pipe-way buildings machine hall building analyzer shelter noise hood shelter administrative building Electrical and control building escape routes in line with specifications project requirements.

Preparation of Structural steel Standard drawings

Preparation of Design drawings for all types of Foundations including reinforcement detailing.

Preparation of drawings for Roads paving and drainage

Preparation and review of Bar Bending Schedule

Checking of C&S drawings in the role of Design drawing checkers

Checking of Shop Drawings in the role of Shop drawing checkers

Effective Communication skills with proactive coordination to manage

interdisciplinary workflow.

Are you a MATCH

Education: ITI/Diploma In Engineering Discipline Civil and Structure Work
Experience range: Min 15 years of experience in EPC or Detail design engineering company in the engineering discipline for execution of projects in various sectors like Oil & Gas Energy Refining Petrochemicals.
Tool proficiency - SmartPlant 3D and Auto-CAD ( Must have) TEKLA and E3d ( Good to have)
Ability to identify cost optimization opportunities during project execution .
