Technical Infrastructure Program Manager, Data Center Planning and Delivery

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design planning delivery and operation of all AWS global other words were the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers storage networking power and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. Youll join a diverse team of software hardware and network engineers supply chain specialists security experts operations managers and other vital roles. Youll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. Key job responsibilities
- Lead cross functional and technical teams to drive new build physical security projects from conceptual design feasibility through requirements budget completed design implementation testing and deployment
- Interact with engineers technicians project managers and senior management on a daily basis
- Lead the deployment launch and continuous improvement of new data center physical security builds and expansions
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to generate high quality cost effective solutions and deliver results on time
- Simultaneously manage multiple projects and tasks while effectively influencing negotiating and communicating with internal and external business partners contractors and vendors
- Lead continuous improvement processes to improve physical security programs
- Implement and fully document improvements and modifications related to new technologies

- Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure (i.e. network data center hardware software)
- Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds
- 3 years physical security infrastructure deployment

- 3 years of technical infrastructure management experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
