Job Summary:
The Counter Server at Dune Café is the face of the guest experience responsible for crafting beautiful made-to-order salads and smoothie bowls while delivering warm attentive service. This role requires speed precision and a strong eye for presentation ensuring each dish reflects the clean vibrant aesthetic of our brand.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience
- Welcome each guest with a polished friendly and approachable demeanor
- Provide knowledgeable guidance on menu offerings ingredients and dietary accommodations
- Create a seamless and elevated counter service experience reflective of a luxury coastal property
Food Preparation & Presentation
- Prepare salads and smoothie bowls to order with consistency and attention to detail
- Execute recipes with precision while maintaining speed during high-volume periods
- Ensure all items are presented with a clean vibrant and visually appealing finish
Operational Excellence
- Accurately input orders into Simphony POS and process payments efficiently
- Maintain full station readiness including prep of fruits vegetables grains and toppings
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to management
Cleanliness & Standards
- Uphold strict food safety and sanitation standards
- Maintain a pristine and organized workstation at all times
- Follow all health department regulations and internal SOPs
Qualifications
- Experience in acafé juice bar or fast-casual environment preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Basic food preparation skills
- Availability to work weekends holidays and peak summer periods

Pay Range and Compensation Package:
