Job Description:
Job Duties:Conduct research for agency attorneys reviews studies and annotates laws court decisions documents opinions briefs and related legal authorities. Analyze law sources assist with preparing legal files and documents such as briefs affidavits motions or memorandums for agency use. May assist in drafting proposed rules regulations and statutes. Gather data and legal requirements related to agency responsibilities and summarize as assigned. Other duties as assigned within the scope of the classification.
Requirements/Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Current enrollment in and completion of one year of law school (approved by the American Bar Association).
Other: Minimal travel may be required. As such the incumbent must be able to present a valid drivers license or another form of reliable transportation. Regular and reliable attendance is required.
This is a temporary assignment expected to last until 11/20/2026.
