Sentara Norfolk General Hospital a Level 1 Trauma Center located in Norfolk Virginia is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Vascular and Interventional Procedures Unit - PVI Endovascular Lab.

- Hours/Shift:
Full Time Day Shift Position schedule procedures are postedMonday Friday 7:30am to holiday and overnight call will be required.30-minute call response every 3rd weekend call and weekend call is Friday1700 Sat 24 hrs Sun 24hrs.
Department/Position Overview:
Our department includes 25-bed prep & recovery unit and 8 procedure rooms.
Nurses are cross-trained in interventional radiology neuro ultra sound and vascular procedures. We are looking for a strong nurse due to the autonomy and critical thinking needed in this role.
The procedure nurse provides hemodynamic monitoringadministers moderate sedation and assist the interdisciplinary team during procedures to ensure excellent patient care.
The procedure nurse assists in the Vascular & Interventional Centerspre-op and recovery area to ensure a safe and efficient transition for our patients.
Experience:Critical Care Emergency room or PACU experience preferred.
