Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Labor & Delivery (High-Risk OB Clinic)
Location: New York NY 10037
Shift: Day Shift (8:00 AM 4:30 PM)
Schedule: 37.5 hours/week 5 days/week
Duration: Contract (1 position available/14 Weeks)
Position Summary
A healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to support a high-risk OB outpatient clinic. The ideal candidate will have strong maternal and child health experience with expertise in fetal monitoring and outpatient obstetric care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform fetal monitoring and provide care in a high-risk OB setting
- Assist with maternal and newborn care procedures
- Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy
- Administer and monitor conscious sedation as required
- Ensure adherence to clinical standards and patient safety protocols
- Support patient care coordination in an outpatient environment
- Assist with training and precepting of new staff
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Maternal & Child health experience
- Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience
- Minimum 2 years of conscious sedation experience
- Strong experience in fetal monitoring
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) from an accredited program
Certifications & Licensure
- Active New York State RN license
- AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
- AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- NYSED license verification required
