Job Summary
Tutor Doctor is a locally owned tutoring company that has been serving families in our community for over 15 years. We provide personalized one-to-one tutoring in students homes and help match tutors with students based on subject expertise personality and availability.
We are currently seekingexperienced high school math tutorswho are comfortable supporting students inAlgebra l/II Pre-Calculus and ideally up Calculus.
What Youll Do
- Provide one-on-one tutoring for high school math students
- Support students with homework test preparation and foundational understanding
- Build confidence and strong study habits
- Communicate progress and session notes through our online platform
Subjects Needed
- Algebra l/II
- Geometry
- Pre-Calculus
- Calculus (strongly preferred but not required)
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in high school math subjects
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience preferred
- Bachelors degree (or current college student majoring in a related field)
- Reliable transportation to travel to students in the Ridgewood and surrounding areas
- Patient encouraging and dependable
