Job Responsibilities:
- Provide academic advising and social-emotional support to students grades 9 to 12.
- Provide post-secondary guidance to 11th and 12th-grade students write college letters of recommendations for 12th graders on your caseload and provide guidance to students parents and high school staff throughout the post-secondary process.
- Effectively manage a caseload of students grades 9th to 12 providing a range of counseling services and academic support.
- Works with students who are struggling with emotional developmental and social issues
- Provides individual and group counseling in school through for students in need of all levels of emotional support (short-term and long-term)
- Provides leadership in this school regarding the Social Emotional Learning of students.
- Provides ongoing consultation to school staff and parents
- Masters Degree in School Counseling Field.
- Current DESE licensure (Department of Elementary and Secondary Education) as a School Guidance Counselor.

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary is determined by education and experience ranging from Bachelors (Step 1) $63217 to Doctorate (Step 13) $128771 (This range is based on a 1.0 FTE).
