Software developer with AI development focus

For our Digital Presence department we are looking for a talented and forward-thinking Software Developer who is passionate about building modern scalable applications using C# JavaScript and Microsoft Azure.
You will play a key role in developing and enhancing our digital solutionswhile also leveraging AI tools and techniques to improve software development processes and product capabilities.

As part of Global IT you will work closely with business stakeholders partners and customers to deliver solutions that directly support Milestones commercial processes and make a real impact on how we operate globally.

Why this role matters
In this position you will contribute to the development and modernization of applications and services that deliver complex functionality to both internal and external users. These solutions include hardware configuration calculators training environment provisioning tools and product download management systems.

Currently many of these services run on IIS-based virtual servers. Your mission will be to help transform them into scalable secure cloud-native solutions built on modern Azure serverless architecture.

This role requires proficiency across the full stack with a clear emphasis on backend technologies combined with experience in React and an understanding of modern cloud-based application patterns.

What youll be doing

• Design develop and maintain applications using C# (.NET) and JavaScript frameworks
• Stay up to date on emerging technologies especially in AI-assisted development
• Build and deploy cloud-native solutions using Microsoft Azure
• Integrate AI tools and services (e.g. Azure OpenAI Claude Code automation tools coding assistants) into development workflows
• Write clean maintainable and testable code following best practices
• Optimize application performance scalability and security
  

What we are looking for

• Experience with C# / .NET
• Experience with JavaScript (Preferably React Angular or Vue)
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services Functions APIs DevOps etc.)
• Experience using AI tools in development such as:
  • Code generation tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot Claude Code)
  • AI APIs (e.g. OpenAI / Azure AI services)
• Understanding of REST APIs microservices and cloud architecture
• Familiarity with version control (Git)
• Great sense of humor
  

Nice to Have

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps GitHub Actions)
• Experience with Scrumand agile frameworks
  

Education
bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or a related field.
