Full Stack Developer (Backend Focus)

For our Digital Presence department we are looking for a Full Stack Developer.

We are now looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer with a strong emphasis on backend development to join our team. As part of Global IT you will work closely with business stakeholders partners and customers to deliver solutions that directly support Milestones commercial processes and make a real impact on how we operate globally.

Why this role matters
In this position you will contribute to the development and modernization of applications and services that deliver complex functionality to both internal and external users. These solutions include hardware configuration calculators training environment provisioning tools and product download management systems.

Currently many of these services run on IIS-based virtual servers. Your mission will be to help transform them into scalable secure cloud-native solutions built on modern Azure serverless architecture.

This role requires proficiency across the full stack with a clear emphasis on backend technologies combined with experience in React and an understanding of modern cloud-based application patterns.

What youll be doing

Back-End Development
Design implement and maintain backend services and APIs with a strong focus on Azure serverless technologies.

Front-End Development
Build and maintain user-facing features using the React framework.

Collaboration
Work closely with product managers designers architects and fellow developers to deliver high-quality business-critical applications.

Scalability & Performance
Ensure applications are optimized for performance scalability and security.

Code Quality
Produce clean maintainable and efficient code aligned with architectural best practices.

Code Reviews
Participate in peer reviews and provide constructive valuable feedback.

Troubleshooting & Debugging
Identify diagnose and resolve issues across the full application stack.

Continuous Improvement
Stay up to date with emerging tools cloud capabilities and industry trends to continuously strengthen our technical landscape.

What we are looking for

Education
bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or a related field.

Experience
25 years of experience in full-stack development.

Technical Skills

• Strong backend development experience ideally or similar technologies
• Experience with Azure serverless architecture (e.g. Azure Functions Logic Apps Azure SQL)
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices
• Proficiency in JavaScript and React
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with GitHub or other version control systems
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Experience working in Agile development environments

Soft Skills
Strong problem-solving abilities attention to detail clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
