Registered Manager (Complex Care / Learning Disabilities)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a high-quality service supporting individuals with complex care needs and/or learning disabilities in the Newcastle area. This is an ideal role for a strong passionate leader who is committed to delivering outstanding person-centred care and driving service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day management of complex care and/or learning disability services
- Ensure full compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements
- Lead develop and support a team of care and support staff
- Promote a culture of dignity independence and person-centred care
- Manage staffing rotas budgets and service resources effectively
- Ensure care plans risk assessments and clinical documentation are accurate and up to date
- Work closely with families professionals and external agencies
- Drive continuous improvement and maintain high-quality outcomes for service users
- Support audits inspections and quality assurance processes
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager within complex care or learning disabilities services
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g. CQC standards)
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Excellent communication organisational and problem-solving skills
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent) desirable
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and quality assurance
- Full UK driving licence (desirable)
