The Data Architect is responsible for designing modern data platform solutions tailored to customer needs while continuously monitoring the data technology market. The role evaluates emerging technologies compares platforms and architectural approaches and recommends optimal solutions based on scalability cost-efficiency and long-term business value.

The architect works closely with sales delivery teams and customers to define solution architectures and ensure the right technology choices across leading data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Data Solution Architecture

• Design end-to-end data platform architectures aligned with customer business requirements
• Define reference architectures and solution blueprints
• Support solution design during pre-sales and customer engagements
• Ensure scalability performance security and cost optimization of proposed architectures

2. Technology Landscape Monitoring

• Continuously track trends and innovations in the data and analytics ecosystem
• Evaluate capabilities of leading data platforms such asDatabricksMicrosoft FabricSnowflake and services withinMicrosoft Azure
• Identify opportunities where new technologies can bring value to customers

3. Technology Evaluation & Comparison

• Perform architectural and cost comparisons across modern data platforms
• Assess suitability of technologies for different workloads (analytics data engineering AI/ML real-time processing)
• Provide guidance on platform selection based on customer maturity scale and use cases

4. Business & Pre-Sales Support

• Support sales teams with technical expertise during solution proposals
• Participate in customer workshops and architecture discussions
• Translate business needs into technical solution concepts and architecture proposals

5. Internal Knowledge & Architecture Standards

• Develop best practices architecture guidelines and reusable design patterns
• Share knowledge about emerging technologies and platform capabilities
• Contribute to internal capability building in modern data platforms

Key Skills & Expertise :

• Data platform architecture and modern data stack design
• Strong knowledge of platforms such asDatabricksMicrosoft FabricSnowflake and theMicrosoft Azure ecosystem
• Data engineering and analytics architecture patterns (Lakehouse Data Warehouse Data Mesh)
• Technology evaluation and architectural decision frameworks
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Strong analytical thinking and stakeholder communication
