Our team is looking for a handson Chef who thrives working independently takes pride in presentation and has real passion for food. You will work in a relaxed communityfocused environment with none of the late nights highstress rushes or commercial kitchen chaos. Its a village full of life connection and great energy the perfect backdrop for a Chef who enjoys meaningful work in a supportive to the Village Manager your duties will include;Taking the lead in the kitchen working independently each day: cooking cleaning preparation service and endofday closePlanning menus and ensuring excellent presentation and taste every dayOrdering stock managing inventory and maintaining costeffective operationsCatering lunch and dinner services for 3565 residents Preparing our busiest themed days: Roast days Fish & Chip FridaysEnsuring compliance with food safety and EH&S standardsEngaging with residents for menu feedback and continual improvementMeeting food cost and budget targetsBringing passion creativity and pride to every plateShifts:The successful applicant will work Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm.
