Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality surgical care for both adult and pediatric patient populations. The ideal candidate will be adaptable team-oriented and capable of working in a fast-paced multidisciplinary surgical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care in the Operating Room across a variety of surgical specialties
  • Prepare patients equipment and operating rooms for surgical procedures
  • Assist surgeons during procedures and ensure adherence to sterile techniques
  • Monitor patient status before during and after surgery
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system

Schedule & Requirements:

  • On-call required (details discussed during interview)
  • Floating required; may float to other units or affiliated campuses as needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience required
  • Pediatric (PEDS) experience required
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • BLS certification required
  • CNOR certification preferred
  • Experience with EPIC EMR system required
  • Prior travel experience highly preferred
