Job Overview
XPECT Solutions Inc. is looking for a System Administrator on an effort supporting our Federal Government Client in Huntsville ideal candidate will provide systems support for the Wireless Network Team including managing Windows Servers in a VMWare environment and supporting end ideal candidate will provide support for our large federal government agencys highly complex network infrastructure environment to include multiple enclaves comprising various classification levels.
In support of our Innovations team the System Administrator will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Managing Windows Server Guests hosted in VMWare.
- Providing Tier 1 & Tier 2 Support (initial triage of wireless connectivity)
- Guest account provisioning
- Generate and print receipts
- Distribute account information to users during onboarding
- Determines escalations necessity
Requirements
- Active Top-Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI
- Minimum of 1 year of experience managing WindowsServers to include application configuration patching and configuration.
- Working knowledge of Operating System (OS) configuration security compliance (STIGs) troubleshooting
- Demonstrated experience in creating and updating system documentation.
- Experience working with and troubleshooting industry-used software applications such as Windows 7 Microsoft Office and Microsoft Active Directory
Preferred Additional Skills and Qualifications
- Experience supporting or working in WiFi environments.
- Knowledge of INFOBLOX Cisco ISE and/or Cisco DNA Center
- A.S. degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related area
- Highly self-motivated and directed with attention to detail.
- Experience working on federal systems.
- Ticketing System Experience
