What you will do:
Perform service and repairs on Portable Fire Extinguishers Kitchen Hood Systems & Suppression Gas Systems in addition to other related building system products at customer sites. Service troubleshoot and install many different manufacturers including Simplex and ANSUL. Read and interpret blueprints diagrams submittals specifications software/systems programs schematics and operational product manuals. Manage daily service call customer activity and program system products.
How you will do it:
- Assist customers with all questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Participation in an on-call rotation for Emergency Service.
- Performs inspections of Suppression Gas Systems based on contract requirements.
What we look for:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Outstanding Customer facing service and problem-solving skills
- PC Skills including Microsoft Windows Excel Word and Outlook Preferred Qualifications
- Any Manufacturer certifications: ANSUL Kiddie PyroChem is a plus
- Prior experience in fire sprinkler and/or mechanical installation or service is a plus
- Ability to read interpret and identify conflicts in mechanical and sprinkler drawings is a plus
- Valid US drivers license with an acceptable driving record
- Willingness and flexibility to work alternative shifts weekends on-call rotations and overnight travel if ever needed
- Ability to lift carry and maneuver tools and equipment weighing up to 70 lbs
- Physical capability to work in challenging environments including:
- Ladders scaffolding and high-lift equipment
- Ducts crawl spaces basements and attics
- Confined or elevated work areas while carrying up to 40 lbs of tools
