JOB TITLE Accounts Payable Specialist

DEPARTMENT: Accounting
REPORTS TO: Accounting Manager
MAJOR PURPOSE:
The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting and clerical tasks to support the efficient operation of our finance department. Your primary duties will include processing both AP invoices and reconciling accounts.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions.
- Process accounts payable transactions ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
- Respond to inquiries from vendors on a daily basis.
- Manage vendor payments accurately to maintain good supplier relationships
- Monitor banking transactions on daily basis
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures as well as accounting principles
- Working close with operation team
- Ensure all invoices are recorded correctly in Quickbooks
CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE:
- Understanding accounting best practices.
- High attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Google Sheets and Excel.
- Produce work with a high level of accuracy.
- Knowledge of Quickbooks or other applications.
- Experience in Media/Marketing billing is a plus
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associates degree in accounting or a related field preferred.
- Agency Experience highly preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Periods sitting at a desk and monitoring computer (we have ergonomic sit stand desks).
