Position Summary:
We are seeking a fulltimeFabrication Assembler Technicianto joinour Indianapolis team. The ideal candidate will play a key role inmanufacturing by interpreting blueprints assembling components and ensuringthe quality of finished products. This position involves both fabrication andassembly work as well as maintaining a clean and efficient productionenvironment.
Candidates should be comfortable using tools and machineryidentifying and troubleshooting issues collaborating with team members andfollowing all safety and quality procedures.
This position is based primarily in the fabrication shop atour Indianapolis location with occasional local travel to customer sitesduring normal business hours. A clean driving record is required. This roleoffers a competitive compensation plan and excellent benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently use handand power tools for fabrication and assembly tasks.
Read and interpret schematicdrawings blueprints and specifications to determine material and assemblyrequirements.
Take accurate measurements toensure precision and proper fit during fabrication.
Align assemble and testfabricated components to meet quality standards.
Operate machinery and fabricationequipment to cut shape and finish parts.
Maintain clean and inspectfabrication tools and equipment reporting any malfunctions or repair needs.
Inspect operate and testcompleted products to confirm performance and conformance with customerspecifications.
Assist in maintaining a cleanorganized and safe production environment.
Qualifications &Requirements:
Mechanically and technicallyinclined with strong attention to detail.
Ability to stand walk bend andmove for extended periods.
Minimum of 3 years of experiencein equipment troubleshooting and repairs preferred.
Strong organizational andcommunication skills.
Associates degree in a technicalfield or equivalent work experience preferred.
Must maintain a clean drivingrecord and be legally authorized to work in the United States.
