Room Leader - Islington

As a Room Leader youll take ownership of your room leading your team while staying closely involved in childrens development and building strong consistent relationships with parents.
Before You Apply
- This role requires recent experience as a Room Leader or senior practitioner in a nursery.
- A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above) is essential.
- You must be confident leading a room and making day-to-day decisions independently.

What Youll Need
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)
- Experience working as a Room Leader or similar senior role in a nursery
- Strong understanding of EYFS and child development tracking
- Ability to lead a small team and organise a room effectively

What Youll Do
- Lead the daily running of your room maintaining consistent routines
- Plan and deliver activities aligned with EYFS and individual learning plans
- Track and review each childs development maintaining accurate records
- Build working relationships with parents through regular communication
- Support and guide staff within the room to maintain quality standards
- Ensure safeguarding safety and compliance requirements are met
