Job Description
As a Field Service Engineer you play a vital role in ensuring our customers laboratory and process operations run reliably safely and at peak performance. You are the face of our service organizationbringing technical expertise professionalism and problem-solving skills directly to customer sites. Your work supports longterm customer partnerships and helps maintain the high standards associated with our products and this role youll work both independently and alongside a supportive team delivering exceptional onsite calibration maintenance and repair services.
What youll do
Install configure and optimize hardware software and network-connected products at customer sites.
Perform routine and complex maintenance calibration and repair of laboratory and process equipment.
Diagnose performance issues and recommend solutions that improve equipment reliability.
Provide customer training and technical guidance to enhance proper equipment use and preventative care.
Respond proactively to potential issues to minimize downtime and unplanned business interruptions.
Serve as a technical resource for colleagues and customers occasionally mentoring other field engineers.
Support highvolume customer locations with onsite calibration services.
Ensure professional timely communication and a strong customer service experience.
What you need
Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
Ability to work independently and in team environments
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Experience servicing analytical or laboratory instrumentation
Bachelors degree in Engineering Chemistry or related field; Associate degree with experience also considered
510 years of related equipment troubleshooting calibration or repair experience
Proficiency with spreadsheet and wordprocessing software
Ability to travel up to 75% of the time and maintain a valid drivers license
