Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to join our client with a strong background in FPGA and digital design to lead the development of secure tactical communication this role you will oversee a team of embedded FPGA engineers responsible for designing and implementing firmware for advanced wireless communication systems.
The ideal candidate brings over 8 years of experience in FPGA/firmware development along with proven leadership in managing technical teams and complex projects. You will be accountable for resource planning scheduling and budget management while collaborating with cross-functional teams to define design and validate FPGA solutions for radio product development.
In addition to technical leadership you will play a key role in mentoring and developing your team ensuring both project success and individual career growth.Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage a team of FPGA engineers including goal setting performance management and professional development
- Drive project execution to successful delivery ensuring alignment with timelines and performance metrics
- Continuously improve FPGA development processes and best practices
- Develop cost estimates and project schedules for FPGA initiatives
- Oversee project budgets timelines and resource allocation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement FPGA-based solutions
- Support hiring training and career development of direct reports
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in FPGA/ASIC development and verification for embedded systems
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing engineering teams and projects
- Strong understanding of FPGA/ASIC development and verification methodologies
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
