Job Overview:
This role leads the design delivery and governance of compensation and benefit programs across an assigned Region while contributing to key global compensation and benefits initiatives. The role will ensure competitive compliant and market-aligned reward programs. This role partners with business and HR leaders to design and optimize total rewards offerings. It also drives data-driven decision making and continuous improvement.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary compensation lead for a specified region partnering closely with HR Business Partners and regional leadership
- Manage specified regions benefits strategy including health welfare retirement and wellbeing programs.
- Ensure compliance with regional employment tax compensation and social security regulations.
- Conduct benchmarking and market analysis for compensation and benefits.
- Lead vendor governance and contract negotiations for C&B-related services.
- Oversee annual salary review and bonus cycles in coordination with Global Compensation team.
- Provide guidance to HR Business Partners and business leaders on rewards topics.
- Own communication of reward programs across assigned Region.
- Occasional travel within assigned Region. Approximately 5%
- And all other duties as needed or assigned.
Qualifications (Minimum Required):
- Bachelors Degree. Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience and successful project outcomes in lieu of educational requirements.
- Strong knowledge of compensation methodologies job architecture and benefits program management.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication relationship building and influencing skills.
- Advanced knowledge of compensation and benefits regulations market trends and best practices particularly with assigned Region.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables formulas VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
- Multilingual proficiency (English Spanish and/or Portuguese).
Experience (Minimum Required):
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits.
- Experience supporting multiple assigned Region markets.
- Experience with compensation cycles benefits administration and compliance.
Preferred Qualifications Include:
- Certifications such as CCP GRP CEBS.
- Experience in multinational organizations.
- Project management experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently stationary for 6-8 hours per day.
- Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast simple repeated movements of the fingers hands and wrists.
- Occasional crouching stooping with frequent bending and twisting of upper body and neck.
- Ability to access and use a variety of computer software developed both in-house and off-the-shelf.
- Light to moderate lifting and carrying (or otherwise moves) objects including luggage and laptop computer with a maximum lift of 15-20 lbs.
- Regular and consistent attendance.
- Varied hours may be required.
