Role description:

Due to continued work and commencement of new projects our Design and Engineering (Urban Development) division is looking for a Senior Civil Designer to help us ensure project delivery across a range of sectors across South East Queensland.

Role accountabilities:

Providing quality delivery of the designs using 12D predominately some Civil 3D experience will be of benefit
Successfully manage plan resource and complete assigned modelling projects within agreed budgets and deadlines
Assisting the Project Manager in determining the drafting & other design resources required for a project plan including elements suitable for outsourcing
Ensuring the production of project documents that are accurate clear and concise and compliant with best practice and any other quality standards dictated by the nature of the project
Resolving complex technical drafting and design issues
Developing and maintaining professional relationships with Project Managers Design Engineers and drafters within other disciplines.

Qualifications & Experience:

Relevant Engineering degree and/ or certifications
At least 5 years of demonstrated industry experience in the application of 12D and Civil 3D software using your in-depth knowledge of civil design standards
Experience working on Urban Development projects within South East Qld. or Northern NSW
Experience using various software programs such as AutoCAD and 12d Synergy
Design knowledge in road design earthworks (steep site experience valued) / grading design and utilities design (water sewer drainage)
Excellent client-focus and a sound technical know-how
Ability to develop elements of design from concept sketches to detailed drawings
A high attention to details and ability to deliver quality output within the timeline.
