Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join a dynamic radiology team in a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans while ensuring patient safety comfort and adherence to established protocols.
Shift Details:
- Night Shift: 5x8-Hour
- Hours: 12:30 AM 8:30 AM
- Consistent overnight schedule
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols
- Ensure high-quality diagnostic images while minimizing patient exposure to radiation
- Prepare and position patients for CT scans ensuring safety and comfort
- Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any adverse reactions
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members for optimal patient care
- Adhere to infection control safety and regulatory standards
- Operate and maintain CT equipment effectively
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience preferred
- ARRT (CT) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and patient care procedures
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
- Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills
