US Heart and Vascular is seeking a PRN Radiologic Technologist to join our team at the new Lafayette ASC within Cardiology Specialists of Acadiana. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a high-quality outpatient cardiovascular environment alongside a dedicated and experienced team.
Responsibilities:
Prepare instruments and supplies needed to perform procedures according to the physicians documented preferred routine.
Prepare the operating field for procedures.
Perform routine and delegated technical duties.
Assist the physician and surgical team before during and after procedures.
Assume responsibility and accountability for operating room preparation including support assistance and equipment/instrument management.
Support RN staff in pre-op and PACU areas.
Requirements:
Minimum 23 years of Cath Lab or surgical experience
Associate degree preferred but not required
BLS & ACLS certification required
RT Certification preferred; RCIS or RCVT may be accepted in lieu of RT
