Your location
At our Donauwörth site located on the banks of the river Danube we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Managing supply chain and quality aspects and taking responsibility for on-time on-quality (where applicable on-cost) performance.

  • Managing supplier quality approvals/authorizations and ensuring compliance with required certifications in cooperation with relevant stakeholders.

  • Managing sub-tier suppliers regarding quality performance: process qualification and FAI providing consolidated forecasts for suppliers and ensuring the necessary capacities at the supplier side.

  • Assessing supplier capacity capability and performance and participating in supplier development.

  • Responsibility for supplier audits improvement plans and monitoring measures: Quality Audit IPCA CCP SQIP.

  • Initiating and managing projects to improve supplier performance and agreeing on long-term development goals.

  • Supporting harmonization projects regarding Supply Chain Quality Management (SCQM) processes for various suppliers products or Airbus Helicopters sites.

Desired skills and qualifications

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering Material Sciences Quality & Supply Chain or a comparable field

  • > 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management

  • Technical expertise in composite production plastic or sheet metal

  • Interest in international cooperation and a corresponding willingness to travel internationally at least 1-2 / month

  • Auditor training is desirable

  • Openness to change and continuous improvement

  • Knowledge of SAP

  • Business proficient in English German / French is a plus
