Your contribution
In this versatile role you will work in designing implementing and testing of AI/ML based algorithms for imaging and data science in the field of life sciences
- Programming of defined functionality according to the SW and MLOps development process
- Support projects from initial feasibility to successful integration into Tecan products.
- Working with the Python development toolset
- Using appropriate tools to prepare and organize Data Sets
- Creation and analysis of Neural Networks and other AI/ML algorithms
- Develop and propose design concepts and create technical specifications and documentations
- Contribute to Standards and Guidelines
- Analyze Design and Implement code
- Keep up to date with State of the Art AI/ML Techniques
Your profile
We are not just looking for expertise: We are looking for people who can put their passion and talent into practice with us.
- Bachelors/Masters or PhD degree preferably in computer science data science or software engineering
- Ideally several years of experience in the development of commercial AI research projects in a team
- Good Knowledge of Python incl. common Python Libraries (such as OpenCV scikit-learn and NumPy)
- Working Knowledge of Linux C# or some other OO programming language
- Knowledge of Common AI Frameworks (such as Keras TensorFlow or PyTorch)
- Understand and apply Software Engineering & Machine Learning Best Practices
- Good Knowledge of Data and Image Processing
- Work well independently and with interdisciplinary teams
- Good presentation and communication skills

Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obliged to state the minimum monthly salary of EUR 434186 (classification according to the collective agreement of the electrical and electronics industry based on full-time 38.5 hours/week) as a basis for negotiation. A significant overpayment is envisaged depending on training qualifications and experience.
