For an exciting assignment with our customer Siemens Smart Infrastructure we are looking for a Data Engineer (f/m/d) who is passionate about building reliable data products and pipelines enabling datadriven development and supporting the deployment of scalable machine learning solutions in an AWS environment.
In this project-based role you can work from anywhere in Austria. The position is available immediately and offered as a full-time role (38.5 hours/week).
Your tasks
- Build and maintain data products to empower data scientists and engineers
- Work closely with development teams to shape clear data interfaces and requirements
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines using the AWS technology stack
- Support automation of data science workflows and ensure repeatable ML deployments
Your qualifications
- 3 years of experience working with large-scale data and building reliable data pipelines
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL plus hands-on experience with Apache Spark (ideally PySpark)
- Practical experience with AWS cloud services (e.g. Athena Glue SageMaker) and Infrastructure as Code (CDK CloudFormation or Terraform)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and REST API implementation
- Clear communication skills for defining technical requirements; fluent in English
- Experience with IoT and large-scale time-series data is a huge plus
- Interest or hands-on experience in MLOps and the AI product lifecycle are beneficial
Our Offer
The monthly gross salary according to the collective agreement of the electrical and electronics industry for this function is at least EUR4.51555(this in any case exceeds the collective agreement minimum salary). Depending on your education and experience an overpayment is will determine your final salary during a personal conversation.
