Job Summary

Job Summary
Sacred Heart Catholic School is seeking a Middle School Religion Teacher for the school year. The teacher is responsible for providing instruction aligned with Archdiocesan curriculum standards while supporting the mission and philosophy of Catholic education.
Responsibilities:
- Teach Religion to middle school students
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons rooted in Catholic teaching
- Instruct students in scripture doctrine prayer and Catholic traditions
- Assess student learning and maintain required academic records
- Foster students spiritual growth and understanding of the Catholic faith
- Maintain a positive structured and faithcentered learning environment
- Communicate effectively with parents and school staff
- Participate in faculty meetings professional development and school activities
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Theology Religious Studies Education or related field
- Missouri teaching certification (or eligibility to obtain) preferred
- Practicing Catholic in good standing preferred
- Middle school teaching experience preferred
- Commitment to Catholic education and formation
