    Multilingual Language Academy (MLA) High School Counselor (designed for high school or current college students)

    The Multilingual Language Academy (MLA) High School Counselor position is ideal for current high school or college students who are passionate about supporting multilingual learners in middle and/or high this role counselors will provide educational guidance and assistance to students helping them develop English language proficiency through an engaging interactive 3-week summer learning program.


    Effective Date of Employment:
    June 8 - 26 2026 (no school June 19)
    Monday-Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
    70 hours total

    Job Summary:

    1. Positively interact and support middle and high school students participating in Multilingual Language Academy
    2. Collaborate with teachers to provide support to students
    3. Demonstrate leadership skills and be a role model for learners
    4. Carry out responsibilities as defined by the teachers ELD Leadership team administration and site coordinator



    Qualifications:

    3. Ability to relate positively to students staff and community
    4. Demonstrated organizational skills

    Compensation:
    $11.41/hr.
