Grants Analyst (Part-Time)

Part-Time (20 hours/week) Flexible Schedule
Duration: Up to 18 Months (Grant-Funded)
The Nevada Department of Public Safety (NVDPS) Wellness and Resiliency Program is seeking a Grants & Project Analyst to support grant development fiscal tracking and program reporting. This role plays a key part in supporting initiatives focused on officer wellness trauma recovery leadership development and substance misuse prevention.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with grant writing applications and submission (minimum 3 annually)
- Track grant budgets timelines and reporting deadlines
- Monitor compliance with federal/state requirements (2 CFR Part 200)
- Support financial tracking reporting and budget alignment
- Maintain grant tracking dashboards and program data
- Coordinate with internal teams vendors and external partners
- Prepare quarterly reports and assist with audits
- Maintain organized records and support program documentation
Qualifications
Required:
- 2 years of experience in grant administration project coordination or fiscal tracking
- Strong organizational analytical and multitasking skills
- Experience with budgeting reporting and compliance
- Strong written communication skills
Preferred:
- Experience with federal/state grants (DOJ BJA COPS DHHS)
- Background in public safety wellness or behavioral health programs
- Experience with dashboards reporting tools or program evaluation
- Government agency experience
Work Environment
- Part-time (20 hours/week) with flexible scheduling
- May attend occasional statewide meetings (virtual or in-person)
- Must handle confidential information appropriately
