Are you passionate about Human Resources and eager to learn in a dynamic hospitality environment Join our close-knit HR team at the Amsterdam Marriott Hotel as an HR Intern where youll gain hands-on experience across all areas of HRfrom recruitment and onboarding to associate relations and learning & development.
During your internship you will primarily focus on the administrative side of HR supporting daily operations such as maintaining personnel files preparing contracts updating systems and assisting with reporting. Once youve mastered these core tasks youll have the opportunity to take on more responsibilities in areas like recruitment and L&D initiatives contributing to the full employee experience.
Youll be part of a supportive team that values collaboration development and a positive work culture. This internship reports directly to the Director of Human Resources.
What youll do
- Serve as thefirst point of contactfor associates with HR-related questions helping to maintain strong associate relations.
- Provideadministrative supportacross all HR functions including maintaining employee records and updating the payroll system.
- Assist in organizing and coordinatingTakeCare activitiesand other internal events to support associate well-being and engagement.
- Support the onboarding process to ensure new hires have a smooth and welcoming start.
- Assist in preparing HR documents such as contracts letters and reports.
- Once familiar with core administrative tasks support recruitment activities such as scheduling interviews and posting vacancies.
- Contribute to internal communication efforts including newsletters digital updates and town hall preparations.

- You are currently pursuing a relevant Bachelors degree preferably in Hospitality or Human Resources.
- You have strong organizational skills and can perform well under pressure.
- You are ambitious flexible and bring a positive attitude to your work every day.
- You speak fluent English and/or Dutch; additional languages are a plus.
- You hold a valid work permit or documentation that allows you to work in the Netherlands.
