A Day in the Life:
Working on a diverse number of automated and semi-automated packaging lines you may be expected to operate a variety of packaging machinery such as ammonia cooled scraped surface heat exchangers fillers formers closers labelers and case packers. Other tasks may include manual palletizing tote-filling and tote-washing.
Position Details:
- Hourly Pay Rate: $32.49/hr
- Work Schedule: Will follow a shift rotation:
- Days: 7am-3:30pm
- Afternoons: 3pm-11:30pm
- Nights: 11pm-7:30am
What Youll Be Doing:
- Perform department sanitation duties
- Operate packaging lines adhering to work instructions
- Documentation of quality checks and completion of various checklists
- Participate in continuous improvement and safety programs
- Assist other operators as needed
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices
- Other duties deemed necessary by Supervisor/Manager
Skills/Expereince Requirements:
- Candidates will have successfully completed Grade 12
- Possess a demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
- Capability of working shifts and flexibility to adapt to schedule changes is essential
- Demonstrated ability to function safely and maintain a clean work environment.
- Packaging line experience and knowledge of GMP SQF and HACCP will be given preference

- The year of hire 1.25 days of vacation for each full month worked to 12/31.
- The calendar year following the year of hire 3 weeks
- The year in which 9 years of service is completed 4 weeks
- The year in which 18 years of service is completed 5 weeks
