Job Description
The Master planner is responsible for developing and implementing strategic master plans to optimize production & engineering schedules resource allocation and capacity planning. This role must ensure alignment with business requirements in terms of customer demand and revenue plan. This role involves coordinating cross-functional inputs from sales and BUs operations procurement and engineering to create a feasible and optimized master production schedule based on on key constraints and production parameters. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of supply chain processes production planning and Business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage the Master plan based on demand forecasts constraints capacity and material availability.
Lead & participate in cross-functional meetings to align production procurement and engineering timeline to meet business objectives
Analyze capacity constraints and recommend solutions to optimize throughput.
Drives critical decisions to align business needs with production capacity revenue targets and customer demand.
Suggests and implements solutions to improve processes
Develops and maintains key performance indicators to measure performance
Uses ERP (Oracle) and Power-Bis to generate planning reports and drive data-informed decisions.
Supports strategic programs upstream to ensure all execution requirements are established and met
Bridges the required information with bids & cost teams when necessary
Gets involved in the S&OP process and brings suggestions for opportunities to ensure that the required inventory and supply chain are adequate to support the demand.
Minimal Qualifications:
A bachelors degree preferably in engineering or business
Thorough knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office.
Familiar with an integrated management system preferably ORACLE
At least three to five years of relevant experience or training in the field
Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment multitask and meet deadlines autonomously
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Ability to define problems gather information establish facts and draw valid conclusions
Ability to interpret a variety of technical and non-technical instructions and deal with several concrete and abstract variables at once
Excellent communication skills
