Job Summary
The Count Team Representative Lead counts monies from bill validators (slot machines) all Table Game boxes and non-gaming retail areas. They are also responsible to lead assignments for count room team members.
Responsibilities
- Transfers carts to and from the Count Room and sets Bill Validator Boxes in the appropriate slot machines.
- Performs the Bill Validator collection process.
- Collection sorting and accounting of various monies for multiple departments.
- Performs minor repairs and maintenance of Count Room equipment.
- Notifies Count Room Supervisor of malfunctioning equipment.
- Adheres to safety security regulatory departmental and company policies.
- Completes all paperwork accurately and delivers it to the appropriate department in a timely manner.
- Cooperative while working with employees within the department as well as other departments.
- Maintains Count Room in a clean and orderly fashion
- Able to provide superior guest service and capability to deal with difficult interactions
- Acts as a role model to other employees.
- Other duties as Assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be able to retain a class C gaming license from the state of Iowa
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Must be able to read write speak and understand English
- Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office Excel
- Must possess basic math skills
- Basic mechanical (repair) skills helpful and preferred
- Must be flexible and able to work all shifts including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to communicate in a friendly and respectable manner
- Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team
- Must present a well-groomed appearance

- Must be able to maneuver in and around all areas of the casino.
- Must be able to work effectively in high traffic areas
- Must be able to push and pull carts up to 75 lbs.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs. of boxes.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods (6 to 7 hours) of time.
- Must be able to respond calmly in crisis and stressful situations.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing dust loud noises and bright light.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke.
- Must be able to bend stoop reach kneel twist and grip items as necessary.
- Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
