Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting required parts.
- Provide price quotes and product information via phone and in person.
- Review body shop estimates for accuracy.
- Pull and fill orders from stock; notify manager of out-of-stock items.
- Order parts from external sources when needed.
- Notify service advisors and customers when special orders arrive.
- Tag and deliver parts to body shop with proper identification.
- Follow up on back-ordered parts and maintain records.
- Replenish inventory and assist outside sales reps.
- Process payments and ensure proper billing.
- Issue credits for returned parts and track shop tools.
- Maintain clean and organized counter areas.
- Participate in training and stay updated on products.
- Support lost sales tracking and maintain professional appearance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior experience in automotive parts preferred.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and routine correspondence.
