Job Summary

We are looking for a Technical Sales Manager for our team in Schiedam/Netherlands who will play a key role in supporting our customers preparing technical quotations and ensuring a smooth and professional order process from inquiry to delivery.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Developing technical solutation and preparation of quotations
- Calculation of prices for service jobs spare parts modifications and modernizations
- Identification of required spare parts and requesting quotations from subcontractors
- Providing professional technical advice and recommendation of suitable solutions to the customers
- Preparation of complete proposal packages and follow-up on outstanding offers
- Identification of changes in customer needs and proactively suggesting improvements
- Response to customer inquires either in writing or over the phone
- Review track and report on offers orders and customer feedback
- Maintaining accurate sales-related data in the respective tools
- Providing technical support to the Sales Team - also on on-site when needed
What to bring:
- Bachelor in mechanical engineering or equivalent education/training
- Several years of professional experience and in-depth knowledge in the field of piston compressors and sytems
- Several years of experience in technical customer service inside sales or service coordination
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts and solutions in a clear and customer-friendly way
- Hands-on mindset structured working style and strong communication skills
- Experience with ERP systems preferably SAP
- Fluency in Dutch and English
- Good commercial and business understanding
- Good MS Office skills
- Willingness to travel and valid driving license
- Valid work permit
