POSITION SUMMARY
Under general supervision the FacilityAssistant Janitoris responsible formaintaininga clean and orderly Building / Facility. Work is performed with some independence within established policiesproceduresand techniques and is subject to general or direct supervision as the work situationwarrants.
As part of the DSV team Associates are expected to meet companyobjectivesin the areas of performance safety and quality. Associates are expected tocomply withall corporate and site-specific policies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain offices cubical conference rooms restroomsand orany other office space clean and in orderly fashion.
Prepare conference rooms with coffee drinks and or food (when)
Maintain Storage areas (neat and clean)
Maintains cleanliness of exterior grounds (bay areas lobby entrances etc.)
Empty trash receptacles in the warehouse daily at a minimum.
Maintain floors daily to ensure cleanliness no dirt and debrisobstaclesand trip/slip hazards. Post hazard information signs where needed.
Maintain materials in a neatcleanand orderly fashion.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education& Experience:
Six monthsexperience in a similar role
Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months can range from mild to moderate
Computer Skills

Certificates & Licenses:
Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program

English (reading writing verbal)

Basic math

Clear speakingin order tocommunicate effectively with vendors/customers

Physical ability to lift (50lbs) bend and reach
Methods in handling materials and equipment used in performing housekeeping duties
Work overtime as dictated by business whether mandatory or voluntary.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job the employeerarely isexposed to fumes or airborne particles toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment isusually lowto moderate.
For this position the expected base pay range is : $17.00 per hour plus a Shift Differential of $1.50 per hour. Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job-related knowledge skills experience geographic location and other objective business considerations.
