The Role
We are currently seeking an Engineer Drainage & Flooding with experience in transport or infrastructure projects to join our Sydney team. This is a permanent opportunity supporting the delivery of major infrastructure projects across NSW and nationally.
With a strong pipeline of work we are looking for a Civil / Hydrology / Drainage professional with an interest in drainage design and flood modelling to contribute to a highly capable multidisciplinary team.
With 2 years experience this is an opportunity to further develop your technical skills working alongside experienced engineers to deliver high-quality analysis and design outcomes that meet client and industry standards.
You will have gained your experience within an engineering consultancy (or similar environment) and bring a collaborative mindset strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn and grow within the discipline.
Suitable applicants will have:
- Degree qualified Bachelor of Engineering (Civil Engineering or similar)
- 2 years experience in drainage design stormwater management and/or flood modelling
- Exposure to infrastructure projects (roads highways rail or urban development)
- Familiarity with relevant Australian standards and guidelines
- Experience using (or willingness to learn) relevant software
- Ability to contribute to technical deliverables and support project teams in meeting deadlines and budgets
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn from senior engineers
