Senior Consultant - Business Transformation
The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Consultant to join our growingPower & Utilitiesteam. This role is ideal for someone passionate about drivingtransformationin theenergy sectorand delivering high-impact solutions to clients.
This role is based in Naarm (Melbourne).
Your key responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to transformation engagements within the Power & Utilities sector including digital transformation operating model redesign regulatory reform and customer experience enhancement for electricity gas and energy network and retail organisations. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to address strategic challenges such as energy transition decarbonisation network and market reform and grid modernisation.
- Drive project execution by conducting market and stakeholder analysis within energy market and regulatory contexts facilitating workshops and interviews supporting change management activities and preparing highquality deliverables such as reports presentations and business cases for senior stakeholders including energy executives regulators and government bodies.
- Support team growth and capability building by mentoring junior team members and contributing to the ongoing development of knowledge and expertise within the practice focused on Power & Utilities transformation.
Skills and attributes for success
- Proven experience in the Power & Utilities sector ideally within a toptier or boutique consulting firm though relevant industry experience is also highly valued. Strong understanding of key sector trends including energy transition DER integration regulatory reform and digital enablement across generation networks retail or market operations.
- Expertise in delivering business transformation initiatives technology implementation and operating model design within energy or utilities environments with a demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in fast-paced dynamic environments.
Ideally youll also have the skills and attributes below :
- Degree in Engineering Business Information Systems or related field (energy electrical or systems backgrounds highly regarded).
- Experience working with energy market operators utilities or government agencies (e.g. regulators system operators or policy bodies).
- Familiarity with tools and methodologies such as Agile Design Thinking or enterprise architecture frameworks applied within largescale energy or infrastructure programmes.
