Job Summary
Neurologist - Locum Opportunity in Anderson SC
Join a dedicated team at a hospital-based facility in Anderson South Carolina offering a locum opportunity for Neurologists. This role is essential in providing ongoing coverage due to a physician departure ensuring quality care for the community. With an average of 20 hospital-based patients per day youll have the support of a group of five physicians and five advanced practice providers all committed to excellence in patient care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient neurology care focusing exclusively on hospitalized patients.
- Perform required procedures including lumbar punctures and thrombolytic therapy.
- Manage call responsibilities when on-site; standard hours are 8 AM to 5 PM.
- Utilize the Epic documentation system for patient records.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
- Active South Carolina medical license and DEA registration.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 100% clean background with no exceptions.
- Self-Query NPDB report required (within last 30 days).
License and Certification Requirements:
